Beta Test Party (also known as the Open Beta) was the first ever party in The World of Cars Online. It started in March 18, 2010 and ended in June 30, 2010.
Player exploration, multiplayer racing and chatting/making friends were tested during the party to fix the latest bugs and prepare the official launch of the game.
On April 22, 2010, the Open Beta was updated to test membership features. Some saturdays, players could get free membership features, and 50,000 car-coins to spend; they were called "VIP Weekends".
When the beta ended the game was reset, removing all coins, items, badges and race points obtained during the party (except your friend list and race codes). When the official launch of the game began, players would get 2,010 coins, the Open Beta plaque and the Founder's plaque when they first logged in after the game opened.
