  • Is there any way you could delete my first blog post from today? (it is the one with no content at all, so you might want to look first to be sure)

P.S. Would you be interested in joining this site if you haven't already?

    iwoco.webs.com

A couple of WoC members formed it.

    • First of all, I haven't heard from you in a really long time. And, yes, I can delete it if you want me to.

    • Man, I miss the World of Cars.

    • Don't we all? :(

    • I think I've got a solution! There is a game creator called Scratch (http://scratch.mit.edu) and I have an account! I can create a world of cars; but there will be no online characters.

    • Well it wouldn't be the same without our old friends... I've tried to get them to come here, without any responses. I miss those people... :(

    • Yea.. It was good while it lasted. Do you happen to know the Disney e-mail address?

    • Not entirely sure what you mean by that, but no. I don't really know any Disney addresses.

    • I would be happy to see a 2nd World of Cars.

    • Me too... Very depressing that they had to do this. Cars and Cars 2 together made more than a billion dollars. But they didn't have enough money to keep the game open? Makes no sense.

    • Well, did you go to the iwoco site? There are some former members there, idk if any of them were your former friends, but if one is, I'd be happy to know that I helped you reunite with one! :D

Well said. It really doesn't make sense. Failure on their part. They could have made money off of World of Cars if they had kept it open, I bet.

    • A year membership alone was $50, kind of too much, but I bet if the price had decreased then they would buy more and get more money from it.

    • Do you think maybe they shut it down because it costed more to keep the servers up than what they were pulling in? Like if they payed $10 and got $2 every month, for an example?

        Loading editor
    • Maybe, but I still don't understand why it was closed. Just as I said, Cars 2 made 66 Mil. That should've been plenty of money to keep it open.
